color: #444;}#sp-ea-2457.sp-easy-accordion>.sp-ea-single {background: #eee;}#sp-ea-2457.sp-easy-accordion>.sp-ea-single>.ea-header a .ea-expand-icon { float: right; color: #444;font-size: 16px;}#sp-ea-2457.sp-easy-accordion>.sp-ea-single>.ea-header a .ea-expand-icon {margin-right: 0;}<\/style><div id=\"sp_easy_accordion-1719454959\"><div id=\"sp-ea-2457\" class=\"sp-ea-one sp-easy-accordion\" data-ea-active=\"ea-click\" data-ea-mode=\"vertical\" data-preloader=\"\" data-scroll-active-item=\"1\" data-offset-to-scroll=\"0\"><div class=\"ea-card sp-ea-single\"><h3 class=\"ea-header\"><a class=\"collapsed\" id=\"ea-header-24570\" role=\"button\" data-sptoggle=\"spcollapse\" data-sptarget=\"#collapse24570\" aria-controls=\"collapse24570\" href=\"#\" aria-expanded=\"false\" tabindex=\"0\"><i aria-hidden=\"true\" role=\"presentation\" class=\"ea-expand-icon eap-icon-ea-expand-plus\"><\/i> Temporary Local Rules<\/a><\/h3><div class=\"sp-collapse spcollapse spcollapse\" id=\"collapse24570\" data-parent=\"#sp-ea-2457\" role=\"region\" aria-labelledby=\"ea-header-24570\"> <div class=\"ea-body\"><p style=\"font-weight: 400\"><strong>TEMPORARY LOCAL RULES<\/strong><\/p><p><u>Irrigation Works \u2013 Ground Under Repair<\/u><\/p><ul><li>Any damage caused by irrigation contractors during installation or reinstatement is treated as Ground Under Repair.<\/li><li>Includes vehicular tread-marks, trench levelling, non-reinstated surfaces, holes, turf sods, machine-damaged areas, loose soil, seams of new turf, and adjacent unrepaired areas.<\/li><li>Free relief may be taken in accordance with Rule 16.1a.<\/li><\/ul><p><u>Relief Area:<\/u><\/p><ul><li>Reference point: The nearest point of complete relief in the general area.<\/li><li>Size of Relief Area: One club length, within these limits:<\/li><\/ul><p>o\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Must be in the general area.<\/p><p>o\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Must not be nearer the hole than the reference point.<\/p><p>o\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Must provide complete relief from interference.<\/p><p><u>Tree Stumps <\/u><\/p><ul><li>Tree stumps marked with a white stripe are immovable obstructions.<\/li><li>Free relief may be taken under Rule 16.1a.<\/li><\/ul><p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\">Recently Fallen Tree Limbs<\/span><\/p><ul><li>Tree branches semi detached from recent high winds<\/li><li>Free relief may be taken as per Rule 16.1A<\/li><\/ul><p><u>Tree Roots in Fairways<\/u><\/p><ul><li>If a ball is in the general area (cut to fairway height or less) and there is interference from exposed tree roots, the tree roots are treated as Ground Under Repair.<\/li><li>Free relief may be taken under Rule 16.1b.<\/li><\/ul><p>Aeration Holes &amp; Scarification Marks<\/p><ul><li>Free relief may be taken from an aeration hole or scarification mark in the general area or on the putting green.<\/li><\/ul><ul><li style=\"list-style-type: none\">When a player\u2019s ball lies on the putting green and bird damage interferes with the player\u2019s intended line of play, the player may take free relief.<p data-start=\"345\" data-end=\"485\">The ball must be lifted and placed at the nearest point of complete relief, no closer to the hole, and on the putting green.<\/p><p data-start=\"487\" data-end=\"529\">There is no penalty for taking relief.<\/p><p data-start=\"531\" data-end=\"647\">This Local Rule is in effect under Rule 16.1c (Abnormal Ground Conditions \u2013 animal damage) of the Rules of Golf.<\/p><\/li><\/ul><\/div><\/div><\/div><div class=\"ea-card sp-ea-single\"><h3 class=\"ea-header\"><a class=\"collapsed\" id=\"ea-header-24571\" role=\"button\" data-sptoggle=\"spcollapse\" data-sptarget=\"#collapse24571\" aria-controls=\"collapse24571\" href=\"#\" aria-expanded=\"false\" tabindex=\"0\"><i aria-hidden=\"true\" role=\"presentation\" class=\"ea-expand-icon eap-icon-ea-expand-plus\"><\/i> Local Rules <\/a><\/h3><div class=\"sp-collapse spcollapse spcollapse\" id=\"collapse24571\" data-parent=\"#sp-ea-2457\" role=\"region\" aria-labelledby=\"ea-header-24571\"> <div class=\"ea-body\"><p><strong><em>LOCAL RULES<\/em><\/strong><\/p><p><strong><u>COURSE CONDITIONS <\/u><\/strong><\/p><p><u>Out of Bounds \u2013 Rule 18.2<\/u><\/p><ul><li>Outside the Club boundary fence.<\/li><\/ul><p><u>Abnormal Course Conditions (Including Immovable Obstructions) \u2013 Rule 16.1<\/u><\/p><ul><li>Artificially surfaced paths and roads.<\/li><li>All stakes, bunker rake holders, distance posts, power poles and cables, irrigation control boxes, signposts, seats, buildings, water installations (including sprinklers and spray), green plastic turf matting, all tee signs, and sponsor advertising.<\/li><\/ul><p>Integral Objects<\/p><ul><li>Areas of woodchips (Individual woodchips are Loose Impediments), course water drainage ruts, bark, and dirt paths.<\/li><li>Gardens and plantings of native grasses in the General Area are deemed integral objects unless designated as a No Play Zone.<\/li><\/ul><p><u>Immovable Obstructions Near Putting Greens \u2013 Rule 16.1b<\/u><\/p><ul><li>If an immovable obstruction is on the player\u2019s line of play, within two club-lengths of the putting green, and within two club-lengths of the ball, free relief may be taken.<\/li><li>Exception: No relief if the chosen line of play is clearly unreasonable.<\/li><\/ul><p><u>Bunker Washaways \u2013 Rule 16.1c<\/u><\/p><ul><li>Relief may be taken from washaways in bunkers (channels caused by water erosion).<\/li><\/ul><p><u>Movable Obstructions \u2013 Rule 15.2<\/u><\/p><ul><li>Rope barriers and metal hoops placed around greens and other areas are Movable Obstructions. Free relief may be taken.<\/li><\/ul><p><u>Ball Deflected by Power Lines \u2013 Rule 14<\/u><\/p><ul><li>If a ball hits a power line or pole, the stroke does not count. The player must play a ball without penalty from the previous stroke location.<\/li><\/ul><p><u>No Play Zones<\/u><\/p><ul><li>Lefthand side of the 7<sup>th<\/sup> and 8<sup>th<\/sup> Fairways and the Practice Range<\/li><\/ul><p>The abovementioned NO PLAY ZONES are defined by GREEN STAKES on the lefthand side of the 7<sup>th<\/sup>, 8<sup>th<\/sup> and 4<sup>th<\/sup> fairways (which includes the Practice Range) and all those areas are designated NO PLAY ZONES and are to be treated as \u201cAbnormal Course Conditions\u201d.<\/p><p><strong>The ball MUST NOT be played as it lies in any of the No Play Zones.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 <\/strong><\/p><p><strong>FREE RELIEF:\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 <\/strong>Free relief MUST be taken on the fairway side of the respective NO PLAY ZONE in accordance with Rule 16.1a.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 A ball must be dropped at the nearest point of complete relief and within one club length from the reference point.<\/p><p>Free Relief <strong>must not<\/strong> be taken from the point of entry of the No Play Zone.<\/p><p>Penalty for playing from the wrong place is the General Penalty (2 strokes)<\/p><p><u>\u00a0<\/u><\/p><ul><li>The Practice Range defined by Green Stakes is a No Play Zone.<\/li><li>All dams (defined by Red and Green Stakes) are No Play Zones.<\/li><li>The Driveway and Car Park (defined by white chain fences and Red and Green Stakes) are No Play Zones.<\/li><li>Clubhouse area paving and garden beds near the 18th green and 1st tee \u2013 Free Relief must be taken at the Dropping Zone.<\/li><li>Staked trees \u2013 No Play Zones and Ground Under Repair. Free Relief must be taken without penalty.<\/li><li>Turf nurseries (7<sup>th<\/sup> &amp; 8th holes) \u2013 No Play Zones.
